Leslie, it looks like you always paint wet on dry paper with great granulation (the pigments and the paper combined, I imagine). But you don't get a lot of hard edges - do you soften with a wet brush the edges you want softer? Sometimes the videos are so fast I don't see some of the little things so just asking :) Beautiful skintone on this one!!!

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. I've been traveling and don't check my blog very often when I am out of town.
To answer your question, I do work wet on dry with the skin colors. I then soften the edges with clear water. I also did this with the clothing and fan. As for the background, I worked wet-in-wet.
