Active Pass

Journey Through the Active Pass
11x14"

The Active Pass is the area of islands along the BC Ferries route between Tsawwassen and Swartz Bay.
It is an area I have become familiar with recently as I travel between Victoria and Vancouver for school and workshops.
It is a beautiful area dotted with islands.
Of course summer is the best time of year to see it.

Beautiful depth in this painting, Leslie. I especially like how you have rendered the water!

Beautifully done! It brings back memories from last summer's trip on the ferry when we travelled to the island to see Butchart gardens. You've captured it well.

What a lovely picture, you really captured the water well. I have often looked at that point and I have painted it as well. Active Pass is really a very scenic part of the trip and I have painted several pictures of it. Happy New Year.

Thank you Cindy! I hope you took many, many photos to work from. Butchart is a wonderful place.

Thank you Wendy. I must peruse your site to see if I can find your painting. Is it there?
